Am I the only one? I have a perfectly maintained 2005 RXP that just dropped a rod, which shot through the bottom case and punched a hole in it which allowed all the oil to drain out while it was still running and thus siezed the other two pistions and the crank..at the end of the day I have one worthless jet ski. After speaking to a couple of the "block exchange" companies they are concerned that the punched case will not be something that will pass their inspection so that I will have to pay the entire core charge also. End of the day that means that with out labor, the cost to start this repair will be over $5,000.
I cannot get anyone at SeaDoo to help me because its just over 2 years old, and out of warranty.
I dont mind saying, this absolutly sucks, as a 50 year old jetter who owns a '03 Honda FX and a '02 Kawisaki STX,(of which neiter have cost me anything to upkeep, and have had two XP's (both of which cost me a mint to keep running) My wife is ready to kill me for haveing purchased another SeaDoo but, I couldnt help myself. I can now!
Anyone have any ideas on how to get some help from SeaDoo??

Sorry to hear that you have broken your ski, But I can't understand why your XP's cost you so much to keep running? Have you looked a the option of buying just a block for your craft and putting your head on it it would be about half the cost and see if you can find someone to do most of the bulk work and just take it to Sea-doo for a final check over and tune. Of course Sea-Doo will not fix your machine under warranty or really try to help some dealer sell that many craft they don't care. I would try another dealer or go straight to the top or the media if you think they are are at fault. Know body likes their product to be dragged through the mud. Be I would advise caution that it does not backfire.

ill buy any wrecked RXP you ever have or come across, doesnt matter where its located.....
