Attention all RACERS! Put your tray tables and seatbacks in their upright and locked position…It’s time to go racing, SURF AND TURF STYLE! Perdido Beach Resort, located in sunny Orange Beach, Alabama will host the first two stops of the 2006 9th Annual Sea Doo Surf and Turf Championships on March 25th and 26th. Did I mention that this is “Spring Break”? This will be double point’s series event. This is the first time that we have raced at Perdido Beach Resort and this place is a full-on resort with all the amenities! Also, this will be a surf race and everyone is encouraged to bring their totes and ATVs; however NO motor homes please. The schedule will be the same as all Surf and Turf events with two motos on Saturday and one extra-long moto on Sunday. There will be a BIG SEASON OPENING RACER PARTY (you don’t want to miss it)! Everyone is encouraged to stay at this great host hotel by calling (251) 981-9811, make sure to mention you are with the “Surf and Turf” racing group for a racer discount $120-$135 oceanfront. Make your reservations early because this hotel WILL SELL OUT! There will be an unbelievable bikini contest host by the TAG Girls promotional Team on Sunday! Also, an awards ceremony is planned for Sunday after racing.

The second stop on the Tour will take place May 13th and 14th in Macon, Georgia. This round was brought back by popular demand. Voted the #1 stop in 2003 by the racers, Lake Tobesofkee is in incredible place to bring the whole family for an outdoor adventure! Camping is available and motor homes are allowed. Along with PWC racing, there will be pit bike racing, a barbecue, a bikini contest, and of course, “The Hill of Thrills”.

For the first time in our sports history, we will be going to Myrtle Beach, SC, for rounds 5 & 6 on June 1st – 3rd. This event will run with the Sun Fun Festival, which attracts over 500,000 people! There will be the Miss Hawaiian Tropic Bikini Contest, an air show, Freestyle Motocross, and plenty of fun for the entire family! This event will also be the 1st round of the East Coast Cup Series and be televised.

From there, the Tour will head into the “Tar heel State” of North Carolina for the APBA Nationals on June 16th -18th. This will be the second year we will be heading to “Race City USA”, Mooresville, just North of Charlotte. Stutts Marina on Lake Norman will be the event site for this extravaganza. This event will have the largest cash payout in the USA! There will be welcome party at CS Performance on Friday at registration, Racer Party on Saturday Night, bikini contest on Sunday, Junior 10-12 college fund race, a riverboat on hand for spectators. Racers are encouraged to bring water stands, and No RV’s on site this year as space will be limited. There will be a Big awards ceremony featuring CASH!

The finals of the Sea Doo Surf and Turf Championships will take place on August 12th and 13th at the most posh resort we have ever raced at…The Edgewater Beach Resort! This will be the most picturesque event of the season, with white sandy beaches and emerald green water. This will be held with “X-treme Fest” produced by the Surf and Turf Crew. Along with PWC Racing this weekend, there will be a band, Street bike Freestyle, Freestyle Motocross, racer party’s, and yes…a bikini contest! This will mark the completion of the season and there will be a sit-down awards ceremony on Sunday evening. No RV’s please.
